Since 2007 I have used the online database of Library Thing to keep track of our books. Other than an attempt at the beginning to add a lot of the books we already owned, most of the growth has been through purchases. There are now more than 1750 books catalogued in My Library Thing with the latest additions several books by Keith Devlin, an author I have heard (on NPR) express his admiration for the author of Scientific American's Mathematical Puzzles, Martin Gardner. There are now more than 1650 books cataloged from the Zolac Manor library at Library Thing. The latest batch came from some $2 hardbacks and a few $1 paperbacks purchased from the Goodwill As-Is in Salem, Oregon. The actual count at this moment is 1602 with 3 new books from the North Lombard Goodwill (all history) and last week 2 books from the main Portland Goodwill (also history).

Latest count: 1550 books cataloged on Library Thing. Recently have found some photoplay books of silent films, including one with the actual shooting script. Others had the original dust jackets, albeit tattered. One was not a photoplay book at all but the book which was the basis for Theda Bara's first major film, A Fool There Was.
